The staff attorney in this position will work directly with P&A network attorneys and advocates to prevent institutionalization and to ensure access to community-based services and supports for people with developmental, mental health, and other types of disabilities.

The Executive Director of DRCT is the primary champion and voice for DRCT’s mission, vision, values and programs locally and nationally. The Executive Director is responsible for leadership and management of DRCT’s human resources, financial and administrative operations, fundraising, programs, strategic plans, work plans and supervision of leadership staff.
The Advocate will engage in individual and systemic advocacy with and on behalf of people with disabilities who are subject to abuse or neglect, or who are institutionalized or at risk of institutionalization.
