For the first time in decades, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) put forward and Advanced Notice of Proposed Rule-Making that allowed persons to submit their input on issues surrounding accessible housing for people with disabilities. The notice was expansive; asking for input on issues ranging from online access to new housing designs to the impact of these issues on intersecting communities. NDRN submitted comments on several of the questions and included direct experiences encountered by the P&As.
