Earlier this year, the AbilityOne Commission published a request for public comment on their draft compliance policies concerning oversight of their Nonprofit agencies (NPAs); the documentation requirements for participating employees; and responsibilities and policies concerning person-centered employment plans and upward mobility in the AbilityOne program. NDRN’s comments focused on the need for increased transparency and more competitive, integrated employment opportunities for workers with disabilities in the AbilityOne program.
