NDRN Joins COPAA in Amicus Regarding Entitlement to Attorneys Fees for Student Who Was Over 18 But Under 21

On January 18, 2022, NDRN and the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates filed an amicus in support of Disability Rights New York in J.S. v. N.Y.S. Dep’t. of Corr. & Comm. Sup. in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. The case involves whether plaintiff student who was over 18 but under 21 is  entitled to attorneys’ fees under the IDEA.
