Consortium for Constituents with Disabilities Comments on Proposed Rule Removing Requirement for Parental Consent to Access Health Care to Pay for Education Services

NDRN joined 26 other groups in submitting comments raising concerns with a proposed rule from the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services that would remove the requirement for public agencies to obtain parental consent prior to accessing for the first time a child’s public benefits or insurance to provide or pay for required IDEA Part B services.
