The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) issued a notice of proposed rule-making to update its policies on affirmatively furthering fair housing. The rules were last updated in2015. NDRN offered comments on how to make the programs more accessible for persons with disabilities to ensure greater access to accessible and affordable housing for residents with disabilities.
