Disability Rights Florida published a monitoring report on Homestead Emergency Temporary Shelter for Unaccompanied Children which houses children who arrive at the U.S. border without an adult parent or guardian. The report focused on determining if any of the children placed at Homestead were individuals with disabilities and if so, to determine if those children had been or are at risk of being subject to abuse, neglect, or other violations of their rights.
