NDRN Joins Amicus in Service Animal Case

Fry v. Napoleon Community School, U.S. Supreme Court

On November 21, 2017, NDRN joined three other national and state disability rights organizations in an amicus in support of appellant’s argument that the IDEA’s exhaustion requirement should not apply in a case where a school district refused to allow a student to bring a service animal to school.

The Supreme Court ruled unanimously in favor of the student. 137 S.Ct. 743 (2017).
