NDRN, AUCD and NACDD Thank the House for Introducing an Updated Version of the HEROES Act

The National Disability Rights Network joined the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) and the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities (NACDD) in thanking the House for introducing an updated version of the HEROES Act which includes $50 million to support activities authorized in the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000. The letter also requests that as negotiations continue on this stimulus/relief package that language be included that specifically splits the $50 million as close to equally as possible between the programs represented by NDRN, AUCD, and NACDD.
