On October 10, 2019, Justice Shorter, NDRN’s Disaster Protection Advisor, and Valerie Novack, Portlight Fellow at the Center for American Progress held a virtual workshop titled “Disability Justice Approaches to Disaster Assistance” as part of the Pacific ADA Center’s Webinar Series on Emergency Preparedness. Together, Justice and Valerie have co-facilitated several Disability Justice virtual workshops.
