On October 20, 2021, the House Judiciary Committee, Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties held a Hearing titled “Oversight of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990: The Current State of Integration of People with Disabilities”. The hearing included several witnesses, including the minority witness, Karen Harned, from the national Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB). In response to the minority witnesses’s claims, NDRN submitted testimony explaining the multitude of resources available to businesses to uphold the civil rights law that has now been around for more than thirty-one years.
