On February 27, 2020, NDRN joined the Georgia P&A and several national disability rights organizations and mental disability professionals in an amicus in support the petition for certiorari in Raulerson v. Warden which involved the State of Georgia’s requirement that an individual establish intellectual disability under a beyond a reasonable doubt standard.
In its March 30, 2020 orders list, the Supreme Court denied the petition for certiorari in Raulerson v. Warden.
