On May 1, 2020, NDRN joined 16 disability rights organizations in an amicus brief in Landis v. Washington State Major League Baseball Stadium Public Facilities District in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. The amicus educated the court about the lack of access to public accommodations before passage of the ADA, such as to baseball stadiums, and how the ADA’s accessibility requirements to provide equal opportunities to spectators with disabilities should be liberally construed.
