Elledge v. Lowe’s Home Ctrs., Fourth Circuit, #19-1069
On April 19, 2019, NDRN joined Disability Rights Maryland (the Maryland P&A), Protection and Advocacy for People with Disabilities, Inc. (the South Carolina P&A), Disability Law Center of Virginia (the Virginia P&A), and Disability Rights of West Virginia (the West Virginia P&A) in an amicus brief authored by Disability Rights North Carolina (the North Carolina P&A) in an ADA employment case involving the transfer of a store manager to a comparable position as a reasonable accommodation. The EEOC filed its own amicus in support of the plaintiff and the Retail Litigation Center and U.S. Chamber of Commerce filed an amicus in support of Lowe’s.
