The National Disability Rights Network (NDRN) joined eight other national, disability advocacy organizations in urging Congress to include necessary language in upcoming legislation to update and improve transportation options for people with disabilities. The letter calls for the development of micro transit options for people with disabilities as well as the improvement of paratransit options to enable passengers with disabilities greater mobility to travel easily to essential places like work, medical appointments, grocery stores, and community activities.
