The National Disability Rights Network sent thank you letters to members of the House of Representatives who introduced the Real Emergency Access for Aging and Disability Inclusion for Disasters Act (REAADI Act) and the Disability Relief Medicaid Act (DRMA). The REAADI and DRMA bills are two significant pieces of legislation will provide resources and protect the rights of persons with disabilities before, during, and after major disasters. With the number of natural disasters forever on the rise, such laws are imperative to protect the rights of individuals with disabilities.
