The National Disability Rights Network thanked Representatives Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (D-FL) and Veronica Escobar (D-TX) for leading the effort to include report language in the Fiscal Year 21 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Bill which encourages the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) to partner with the nationwide network of Protection & Advocacy (P&A) agencies to monitor the safety and conditions in ORR facilities to ensure adherence to Federal, State and local codes related to the standards of childcare or the well-being of children with disabilities.
