NDRN Urges House Budget Committee to Preserve Federal Minimum Wage Increase and 14(c) Phase Out

The National Disability Rights Network urged the House Budget Committee to ensure that provisions increasing the federal minimum wage and phasing out section 14(c) of the Fair Labor Standards Act, a provision that permits employers to pay some people with disabilities even less than the minimum wage, be preserved in the committee’s markup of the next COVID-19 relief bill.
