NDRN Urges Transportation Department to Prioritize Accessible Infrastructure

NDRN sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary, Pete Buttigieg, to thank the Department for is work with Congress to pass the Infrastructure Bill, but to further emphasize that people with disabilities must not be forgotten as the funds from the bill are distributed across the country. The bill can greatly impact the lives of persons with disabilities but the Department must make sure the funds are not spent elsewhere to the detriment of people with disabilities.
