On July 3, 2019, NDRN had joined the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA) and Disability Rights Connecticut in support of the parents who were represented by private counsel.
On September 17, 2020, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals issued an unfavorable decision in D.S. v. Trumbull Bd. of Education, ___F.3d___, 2020 WL 5552035 involving the right to Independent Educational Evaluations.
