NDRN attended a Senate hearing on February 9, 2023 entitled “State of Housing”. The hearing addressed numerous obstacles to accessible and affordable housing. However, the senators and witnesses repeatedly failed to address the access needs of persons with disabilities. NDRN submitted a comment to committee members emphasizing the need to address such access issues when working on future housing legislation.
