Alden Blevins (she/her) joined NDRN in 2024 as a Communications Specialist. Her skillset involves managing and creating digital media assets, strategic storytelling and creating communications that are accessible to a wide variety of audiences. She brings those talents to NDRN to help educate the community about the impact of Medicaid unwinding and other healthcare related topics. She formerly served as the Director of External Relations at the disAbility Law Center of Virginia, Virginia’s protection and advocacy organization. With a background in K-12 public education, she taught music to a diverse student body, fueling her commitment to social change. In 2021, she graduated with her Master of Arts from New York University, where her focuses included Universal Design and accessibility. Blevins’ experiences as an Autistic woman bring a unique perspective on equity, justice, and inclusion to her work. Through her work, she aims to drive change and uplift voices of lived experience.
