Public Policy Intern
Alex Alejo is a Fall 2024 policy intern assisting with research related projects on the impact that various polices pose on people with disabilities. Mr. Alejo is currently attaining his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science at the University of California, Irvine and is participating in the University of California District of Columbia program as a supplementary guide for exploring his career paths after graduation. Alejo has previously worked on numerous research projects relating to the impact that COVID-19 had on the learning of K-12 students in Los Angeles. In his current position at NDRN, he is excited to explore how the rights of people with disabilities are represented in policies relating to mental health, housing, and education.
