Public Policy Intern

Ashley Bunici is a public policy intern for NDRN this fall! Ashley is a junior at College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts, where she is pursuing a degree in Political Science and Disability Studies, a minor she self-designed. Ashley’s oldest sister has a disability which introduced her to the disability community from a young age. As a result, Ashley is passionate about disability rights and advocacy and is involved in many organizations that focus on the disabled community, such as DREAM (Disability Rights, Education, Activism, and Mentoring), Best Buddies, L’Arche, and the Student Accessibility Advisory Board. In this work, Ashley has become aware of the injustices facing people with disabilities and aims to become a lawyer to defend the rights of the disabled community and combat inequity.
