External Relations
Joining NDRN in January 2010 as a communication specialist, David Card (he/him) now manages the External Relation team. In this role he advises NDRN leadership on communication advocacy and manages traditional media relations. David also provides training and technical assistance on media relations, communication planning, strategy, and advocacy, and other communication matters to the P&A network and coordinates the Network’s External Relations Working Group. David is passionate about building a just and equitable society for all people and comes to the disability rights movement with a history of civil rights, workers’ rights, and LGBT rights advocacy.
