Public Policy Intern
Nayely Martin is a public policy intern for NDRN during fall 2024 . She is a fourth year undergrad student at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where she is planning to pursue a Masters of Social Work (MSW) after graduating. She is passionate about being part of an organization that advocates for the equality and protecting our disabled community. Having been part of other non profits that strive to protect rights for other disadvantaged communities in other ways and having researched about the injustices that other communities in our society face has inspired her to pursue something that would allow her to help in protecting people that face inequalities. She is particularly interested in the mental health, housing, and education aspects in relating to the inequalities that are faced within our disabled community but is excited to overall research and contribute to helping in all aspects of society.
